Spokane youth philharmonic

Roberta Bottelli, Spokane Youth Philharmonic Conductor

The Spokane Youth Philharmonic is a full orchestra with woodwind, brass and percussion sections as well as strings. SYS students participate in their school orchestra and band programs. The Philharmonic music becomes very challenging for the students at this point as they see everyone's contribution in helping to shape the success of the overall orchestra. Competition for placement becomes a bit stiffer and the maturing musicians must show an enormous amount of devotion to their tasks.

The Spokane Youth Philharmonic  rehearses on Monday evenings, 6:30-8:30 p.m., from September thru May. Location: St. John's Cathedral, 127 East 12th Avenue  (Community Room)
