ORCHESTRA CAMP
The 2023 SYS Sensational Summer Orchestra Camp is scheduled to take place Tuesday-Friday, July 25-28.
This camp is for Symphony Orchestra (SYSO) and Philharmonic members and students who are auditioning for these orchestras for the 2023-24 season. The orchestra camp will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m Tuesday-Friday at Whitworth University’s Cowles Music Center.
CHAMBER CAMP
The 2023 SYS Sensational Chamber Camp will begin on Monday evening, July 24th from 5-8 pm followed by morning rehearsals July 25-28 from 8-9:45 am. Ensembles will be formed based on instrumentation and skill level. Strings and wind players are welcome to sign up for this camp. Chamber ensembles will perform in the camp concert on July 28 at 6 pm. (Chamber participants must be registered for the Orchestra Camp.)


ORCHESTRA REHEARSALS
ORCHESTRA CAMP REHEARSALS-JULY 25-28
The music directors of the SYS Sensational Summer Camp are SYS Artistic Director, Dr. Philip Baldwin and Philharmonic conductor, Dr. Roberta Bottelli.
Students will participate in daily orchestra rehearsals as well as sectionals and other group activities. There will be sectional rehearsals led by professional musicians.

CHAMBER REHEARSALS
CHAMBER CAMP, July 24-28

CAMP CONCERT
CAMP CONCERT, JULY 28, 6 PM
There will be a Camp Concert on Friday, July 28, 6:00-7:30 in the Cowles Auditorium. (The concert will be open to the public and admission is free.)
