On Monday, September 9th at 6:30-7:30 pm (while students are participating in their orchestra rehearsals), SYS parents are encouraged to attend the yearly Parent Orientation Meeting at Manito Presbyterian Church, 401 E. 30th Ave. This is an opportunity for parents of all students in our program to get more familiar with the coming rehearsal/concert season, and to meet SYS Board Members. If you are the parent of a new or returning student, it will be important to attend and get caught up on plans and policies for the coming year. We will also have a Clothing Exchange following the meeting for parents who are looking for concert attire items for their child. Donations of outgrown concert attire items are welcome that night as well.
