Spokane Youth Symphony
Parent Volunteers 2015-16
Parent volunteers play a key role in providing a great orchestral education for Spokane Youth Symphony's young musicians. Parents of enrolled students are required to volunteer for at least nine (9) hours per family during the 2015-16 season (September-May) as part of their commitment for their children's participation in SYS. (There is a required $100 Opt-Out fee for those who choose not to volunteer.)
We are using VolunteerSpot as a convenient way for you to register to volunteer for events throughout the year. Please click the link for an activity listed below and enter your email address to learn details, check the schedule and sign up to help. Note - entering your email address DOES NOT commit you to the activity. You can check the schedule and then click on a time that works for you or go back and check other activities. Once you decide what activity you want to volunteer for, you will click on the Clipboard icon and submit your info. Several volunteer opportunities are spread over many weeks, so you just choose the weeks for which you are available.
A minimum of nine (9) hours is required per family, September - May.
