Christmas Wreath Fundraiser

Each year, members of the Spokane Youth Symphony have an opportunity to sell beautiful Christmas wreaths made at the Calvert Ranch in Montana.   This tremendous fundraiser continues to expand each year and is important to helping offset the growing operational costs of SYS that are largely supported through student tuition.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION: A $100 cash award will be provided to each orchestra’s student selling the highest number of items (50 minimum units must be sold to qualify).

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:  This year we will be providing the same 16” wreath (outside finished diameter measures 26”) and 24” candy cane for hand delivery as we did last season.  The sale price for the hand delivered, evergreen wreath and candy cane is $20. (The sale price is $70 for mail-order wreaths for those families desiring to have wreaths shipped to someone within the 48 continental United States.  The mail-order wreath will be a 12” hoop with outside finished dimensions measuring 22”.)

You will be required to pick up your wreath orders at First Covenant Church, 212 S. Division (corner of 2nd and Division). The pick-up date is Saturday, November 15th, from 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. You will then hand-deliver the wreaths to your customers. (All mail-order wreaths will be shipped by the Calvert Ranch the first week in December.)

At Orientation on September 13 each student will be supplied with a packet that includes a poster, order forms, and a program overview. If each of our young musicians sells seven wreaths we will match last year!  Let's sell 10 wreaths each this year!
