Paul
received his
Bachelor of
Arts Degree
from Western
Washington
University
where he
majored in
musical
composition
and violin
performance.
He received
a conducting
fellowship
at the C.W.
Post
Pierrrot
Consort
Music
Festival
with Miriam
Burns and
also
participated
in the
Conductors
Institute at
South
Carolina and
the
Conductors
Guild in
Seattle as
well as the
Festival at
Sandpoint
with Gunther
Schuller.
Paul studied
composition
and
conducting
at SUNY
Stony Brook
in New York
where he
earned his
Master of
Music
degree,
continued
past-graduate
work at The
Julliard
School and
studied
conducting
with Michael
Charry from
the Mannes
School of
Music. He
was the
founding
Music
Director for
the Atlantic
Philharmonic
Orchestra in
Long Island,
New York and
was the
Director of
Orchestras
at the Stony
Brook Music
Festival.
Currently,
Paul is the
Pastor of
Worship and
Administration
at Fourth
Memorial
Church in
Spokane.
